About Us

Sun Valley Cabinets, Inc. was established in the early 1960's by my father-in-law Ezio Figliuzzi by building luxurious custom kitchen, baths, and specialty cabinet applications for celebrity clientele such as Danny Kay, Elvis Presley, John Wayne, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Lola Falana, and many others.

In the early 1970’s, he set the standard for building high quality apple boxes, and also began designing and manufacturing wood products for the motion picture and television studios, sound recording studios, and many other entertainment related industries.

Over the years, Sun Valley Cabinets has grown into providing a diverse range of classic, high quality expendables ranging from apple boxes to handcrafted grip, propmaster, lighting technician, and set electrician work boxes/cabinets.

My wife and I decided to legacy Sun Valley Cabinets in 2004, and keep it in the family. Knowing we had a good starting point, at the same time knowing it was not going to be easy, we used our past professional and highly technical career experience to overcome the many challenges in this new endeavor. With the new generation, came the investment into new technology and modernization of our manufacturing and business processes. We are consistently improving quality of our products; all of which continue to this day to bring our customers new, updated, and improved products and services.

After my wife passed away in May, 2019, a decision was made to take some time off to reflect and regroup. Now that we have, we're pushing forward to continue on! In order to expand our operations and the portfolio of industries we serve, we recently relocated to Southern Illinois. We will definitely miss the California weather!
